Starting in January, our experienced coaches guide athletes not only build the workouts with the progressive intensities, but also work on drills and techniques to sharpen cycling skills. With our periodization model, we help our athletes make significant gains over the winter.
Periodization is a progressive series of workouts with varying intensities to gradually improve an athletes performance over time. We love that all of our athletes, at many different levels can ride and experience the same workout at their individualized level! The computrainer also gives each athlete amazing feedback on their performance, the avg watts or power the product, cadence, heart rate and much more. The CT now controls the resistance, so no shifting is required, the resistance is all planned out by the coach for each class, specific to each athletes current level of ability. A trainer is a piece of equipment that holds your bike and enables you to ride, the Computrainer goes one step above and is connected to a computer. Is this any better for me as a cyclist than spin class?Ī Computrainer is a indoor trainer. I don’t have my own bike, can I still ride?
